About the Role
This Logistics Coordinator Remote role is responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods, products, and supplies across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing costs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams, including suppliers, manufacturers, and customers. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of goods and products.
- Manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and maintain accurate records.
- Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to minimize costs and improve delivery times.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues and improve overall efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to logistics and supply chain management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to improve communication and coordination.
- Monitor and analyze logistics metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles, including inventory control, transportation management, and warehousing.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve supply chain issues.
