About the Role
As an Electrical Sales Intern, you will be an integral part of our business development team, learning and contributing to various sales initiatives in the electrical engineering and sales engineering fields.
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in identifying new business opportunities, creating sales proposals and presentations, and collaborating with clients to understand their needs and provide suitable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the sales team in identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to pursue them.
- Assist in creating sales proposals and presentations to effectively communicate the value of our products and services to clients.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide suitable solutions, ensuring that their requirements are met and exceeded.
- Work closely with senior sales professionals to learn best practices in the industry and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay informed about market conditions and competitor activity.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with our products and services.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the sales team and management on sales progress and performance.
Skills & Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Strong interest in sales engineering and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently when required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools.
