About the Role
A Retail Trainer at Ramraj Cotton is responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to retail staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales. This role involves creating engaging training content, conducting workshops, and providing coaching to retail teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver training programs for retail staff, including product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and develop training plans to address these gaps.
- Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, handouts, and online resources.
- Provide coaching and feedback to retail staff to improve their performance and achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with retail managers to understand business objectives and develop training programs that align with these objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in retail training and development.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Training and Development, Education, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in training and development, preferably in the retail industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
- Ability to design and deliver engaging training content, including presentations, handouts, and online resources.
- Experience with training management software and tools, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Certifications in training and development, such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP).
