About the Role
This Recruiter role is a freelance position that can be performed from the comfort of your own home. As a recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing and attracting top talent for various clients, often working on a project-by-project basis.
Your day-to-day tasks will involve conducting interviews, screening resumes, and building relationships with potential candidates. You will need to be highly organized, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and attract top talent for various clients through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Conduct interviews with potential candidates to assess their skills, experience, and fit for the role.
- Screen resumes and cover letters to identify the most qualified candidates.
- Build relationships with potential candidates and clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Provide regular updates to clients on the status of recruitment efforts.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, including interview notes and correspondence.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in a freelance or agency setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and candidates.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with recruitment software and tools, such as applicant tracking systems (ATS) and job boards.
- Certifications in recruitment or human resources, such as SHRM-CP or HRCI, are a plus.
