SAP ABAP - Consultant

About the Role

As an SAP ABAP Consultant at PwC India, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring SAP ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) solutions for clients across various industries. Your primary focus will be on developing, testing, and deploying ABAP code to meet business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will analyze business needs, identify opportunities for process improvements, and design and implement efficient SAP ABAP solutions. Your expertise will be essential in streamlining business processes, enhancing productivity, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy SAP ABAP code to meet business requirements, ensuring high-quality and efficient solutions.
• Analyze business needs and identify opportunities for process improvements, working closely with stakeholders to design and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP ABAP solutions with existing systems and processes.
• Design and implement efficient SAP ABAP solutions to streamline business processes, enhance productivity, and drive business growth.
• Provide technical expertise and support to clients, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of SAP ABAP solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP ABAP technologies and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve solutions and processes.
• Document and maintain accurate records of SAP ABAP solutions, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Skills & Qualifications

• SAP ABAP programming skills, with a strong understanding of SAP R/3 and SAP NetWeaver.
• Proficiency in ABAP development tools, such as ABAP Workbench and ABAP Editor.
• Experience with SAP GUI, SAP Web Dynpro, and SAP Fiori.
• Strong understanding of database concepts, including data modeling and data warehousing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business problems and develop effective solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications, such as SAP Certified Application Associate - ABAP.
