About the Role
As a software engineering intern at PwC, you will be part of a dynamic team that designs, develops, and tests software solutions for real client projects. Your primary responsibility will be to write clean, maintainable code and help build and deploy applications using various technologies such as front-end, back-end, cloud, or DevOps.
You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with engineers, product, and delivery teams in an Agile environment, learning PwC tools, best practices, and cutting-edge technologies through hands-on mentoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software solutions for real client projects.
- Write clean, maintainable code and help build and deploy applications (front-end, back-end, cloud, or DevOps).
- Collaborate with engineers, product, and delivery teams in an Agile environment.
- Learn PwC tools, best practices, and cutting-edge technologies with hands-on mentoring.
- Support the development of secure applications or create and run test cases and automation for security/QA roles.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, and Node.js.
- Experience with front-end technologies like React and back-end technologies like Express.js.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
