About the Role
In this role as a Business Development Specialist at Prominent Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and driving sales growth. Your day-to-day tasks will involve cold calling, lead generation, and negotiation to secure new clients and expand existing ones. You will work closely with the sales team to develop and implement effective business development strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, lead generation, and networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive sales growth and retention.
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to meet sales targets.
- Negotiate with clients to secure new business and expand existing relationships.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales plans.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform business development strategies.
- Provide regular sales reports and insights to management to inform business decisions.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
- Proven cold calling and lead generation skills.
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills to secure new business and resolve client issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop and implement effective business development strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
