Management Accountant

About the Role

As a Management Accountant at Playcentre Aotearoa, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to the organization. Your day-to-day tasks will involve analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

You will work closely with the management team to develop and implement financial strategies, and provide insights to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide recommendations to management.
• Implement and maintain financial systems, including accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
• Provide financial guidance and support to management and other teams.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, banks, and other stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications

• Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
• Professional certification in accounting, such as CA or CMA.
• Strong knowledge of accounting concepts, financial analysis, and budgeting.
• Experience with financial systems, including accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
