About the Role
Role: Internship – Institutional Advancement About the Role Plaksha University is looking to onboard a proactive and detail-oriented Intern for the Institutional Advancement team. The role offers an opportunity to work closely with fundraising, donor engagement, stakeholder communication, and institutional outreach initiatives in a dynamic university environment. The intern will support the team in research, coordination, communication, and administrative activities that contribute to strengthening relationships with donors, partners, and other key stakeholders. This role is ideal for candidates interested in higher education, communications, events, stakeholder management, and institutional development. Key Responsibilities Research & Data Support Conduct donor, prospect, and institutional research to support fundraising and partnership initiatives Compile and organize information related to prospective donors, industry leaders, foundations, and partner organizations Assist in preparing research briefs, stakeholder profiles, and background documents for meetings and outreach activities Maintain and update internal databases, trackers, and engagement records accurately Stakeholder Coordination & Communication Support communication with donors, alumni, industry partners, and other external stakeholders through emails, follow-ups, and coordination activities Assist in scheduling meetings, campus visits, and stakeholder interactions Ensure timely follow-ups and smooth coordination between internal and external stakeholders Support the team in preparing professional communication material and presentations Event & Visit Coordination Assist in planning and execution of events, meetings, donor visits, and institutional engagement activities Coordinate logistics for campus visits, presentations, and stakeholder interactions Support pre-event preparation, on-ground coordination, and post-event follow-up activities Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution Administrative & Operational Support Support day-to-day administrative activities related to fundraising and advancement initiatives Maintain organized documentation, records, reports, and trackers Assist in preparing meeting notes, summaries, and internal updates Help streamline coordination processes and operational workflows within the team Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing graduation/post-graduation in Management, Commerce, Humanities, Communications, or related fields Prior internship or experience in coordination, research, communications, events, operations, or stakeholder management is desirable Interest in higher education, institutional development, fundraising, or relationship management preferred Skills Required Strong written and verbal communication skills Good research and analytical abilities Strong organizational and coordination skills Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks Professional and proactive approach towards stakeholder interaction Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment What the Role Offers Exposure to fundraising and institutional advancement initiatives Opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and leadership teams Hands-on experience in research, coordination, communication, and event management Learning opportunity within a fast-paced university ecosystem Professional development in stakeholder engagement and institutional operations
