About the Role
As a Cost Accountant at Pilotsmith, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data to help the organization make informed business decisions. Your day-to-day tasks will involve preparing and reviewing financial reports, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and identifying areas for cost reduction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvements.
- Develop and implement cost control measures to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial models and forecasts.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Cost Accounting
- Financial Analysis
- CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification
- CA Inter (Chartered Accountant Intermediate) certification
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
