About the Role
As a Node JS Developer at Photon, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient server-side applications using Node.js.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and collaborate with other developers to ensure seamless integration of features.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop server-side applications using Node.js and Express.js.
- Implement asynchronous programming using async/await and Promises.
- Use templating engines like Jade and EJS to render dynamic content.
- Integrate third-party libraries and frameworks like Lodash and Socket.
- Write and maintain high-quality, testable code using TypeScript and NestJS.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize project requirements.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of JavaScript and its ecosystem.
- Experience with Node.js and Express.js.
- Familiarity with asynchronous programming using async/await and Promises.
- Knowledge of templating engines like Jade and EJS.
- Understanding of third-party libraries and frameworks like Lodash and Socket.
- Experience with TypeScript and NestJS.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 0-4 years of experience in software development.
