Financial Data Analyst

About the Role

Join our Ratings & Operations Control (ROC) team as a Financial Data Analyst and contribute to delivering high-quality, consistent work product while driving process excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis to support ratings, research, and analytical outreach.
• Perform various data intake tasks, including scrubbing and validating financial data for further use in research and ratings.
• Apply MIS standards to existing data to produce valuable inputs into the rating and research process.
• Review and understand financial reports, official statements, and other documents related to issuers' performance.
• Work directly with ratings and support analysts to understand data capture requirements and adjustments.
• Take initiative to participate in projects or process improvements.
• Complete simple deliverables such as newsletters, database maintenance, and ad-hoc support.

What You'll Need

• Strong understanding of fundamental finance and financial statements.
• Basic understanding of capital markets.
• Curious problem solvers with good written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English with good interpersonal skills.
• Relevant experience in credit/financial data analysis/structured finance domain and interpretation.
• Basic knowledge of AI concepts and a proactive interest in leveraging AI technologies.
