Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Biryani Chef, located in the Pune Division. The Biryani Chef will be responsible for preparing traditional biryani dishes with a focus on authenticity and quality. Daily responsibilities include managing ingredient inventory, ensuring food is cooked to the highest standards, experimenting with flavor profiles, adhering to food safety regulations, and maintaining an efficient kitchen. Collaboration with kitchen staff and menu input will also be part of the role. Qualifications Proficiency in traditional and regional biryani preparation methods, including knowledge of spices, techniques, and presentations. Experience with kitchen operations, including inventory management, portion control, and quality assurance. Strong skills in food plating, garnishing, and maintaining consistent flavor standards. Understanding of food hygiene, compliance with safety protocols, and kitchen equipment maintenance. Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, while managing time efficiently in a high-paced kitchen environment. Prior experience in a professional kitchen; certification in culinary arts or relevant field is preferred. Passion for regional and traditional cuisines; specialization in Indian cuisine is an advantage.
