About the Role

A Credit Analyst at Oxyzo Financial Services will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of potential clients, analyzing financial statements, and assessing the risk associated with lending to them. This role involves working closely with the underwriting team to ensure that loans are disbursed to the right customers at the right time. You will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of existing loans and identifying potential defaults.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to assess the creditworthiness of potential clients.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's underwriting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure that loans are disbursed to the right customers at the right time.
• Monitor the performance of existing loans and identify potential defaults.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews to ensure that the company's loan portfolio is aligned with its risk appetite.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and other departments.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in credit analysis.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
• Knowledge of financial analysis, credit analysis, and risk management principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and other relevant software tools.
• CA (Chartered Accountant) certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of banking and financial regulations.
