About the Role
As a Support Engineer 1 at Oracle, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective technical support to customers, identifying and resolving issues related to Oracle products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and customer satisfaction.
You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and document solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and process improvement.
This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective technical support to customers via phone, email, or chat channels.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to Oracle products, including database management, software installation, and configuration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and marketing, to improve processes and customer satisfaction.
- Document solutions to technical issues and share knowledge with colleagues to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Oracle products and services, including database management, software installation, and configuration.
- Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle products and technologies.
- Contribute to process improvements and quality initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and experience.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in Oracle DB and related technologies.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in technical support or related roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
