UI/UX Designer Intern

About the Role

As a UI/UX Designer Intern at OpsAI, you will dive into the full product design cycle for enterprise AI governance tools. Daily tasks involve translating complex business rules into clean, user‑friendly interfaces, creating wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity mockups, and collaborating with engineers to ensure seamless implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate stakeholder requirements into user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
• Design intuitive dashboards, forms, and workflow screens for AI governance and auditability features.
• Conduct quick usability tests with internal users, gather feedback, and iterate on designs.
• Build and maintain a scalable design system and component library that aligns with the product’s visual language.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to hand off designs and resolve implementation gaps.
• Document design decisions and create specification sheets for cross‑functional teams.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas for improving overall product experience.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Figma (or equivalent) with a portfolio showcasing wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs.
• Solid grasp of UI/UX principles, information architecture, and responsive web design.
• Experience with design systems, component‑based design, and version control for assets.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and how design translates to code (preferred).
• Strong communication skills to present design rationale to non‑design stakeholders.
• Degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent coursework).
• Enthusiasm for AI, enterprise software, and solving complex user problems.
