Accountant
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the full spectrum of financial operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, payroll, and financial reporting, and will play a key role in maintaining the financial health and compliance of the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Handle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain accurate books of accounts - Manage TDS calculations, deductions, filings, and compliance - Process payroll entries and coordinate with HR for payroll data accuracy - Conduct internal audit procedures and ensure adherence to financial controls - Maintain and track fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules - Prepare Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets on a periodic basis Requirements Monitor and manage company expense reports and reimbursements - Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS) on a regular basis - Prepare and analyze cash flow statements to support financial planning Requirements: - Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax regulations (TDS, GST basics) - Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar) - Experience in payroll processing and compliance - Hands-on with internal audit practices - Ability to prepare P&L, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements - B.Com or M.Com degree (mandatory)
