About the Role
In this Intern - Custody Operations role at Nuvama Group, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of custody services, ensuring accurate and timely processing of client transactions. This involves working closely with the operations team to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the processing of client transactions.
You will also be involved in testing and implementing new processes and systems to improve the efficiency and accuracy of custody operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the processing of client transactions, including verifying and validating transaction details.
- Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the processing of client transactions, escalating to the operations team as necessary.
- Test and implement new processes and systems to improve the efficiency and accuracy of custody operations.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure that all client transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain documentation of processes and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Provide support to the operations team during peak periods or in the event of an emergency.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
- Experience with Python, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of Git and version control systems.
- Understanding of REST APIs and object-oriented programming.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
