SAP BW Consultant

About the Role

An SAP BW Consultant plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Business Warehouse (BW) systems for clients. This involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, developing data models, and ensuring data quality and integrity. As an SAP BW Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring that the BW system meets the client's needs, is scalable, and provides accurate and timely insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP BW data models, data warehouses, and data marts.
• Develop and maintain data transformations, data quality rules, and data validation rules.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues with the BW system, identifying and resolving data quality and performance problems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data models, data flows, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, and operations teams.
• Stay up-to-date with SAP BW best practices, new features, and emerging trends.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in SAP BW implementation, configuration, and customization.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with SAP BW tools, including SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Data Services, and SAP BusinessObjects.
• Knowledge of data quality, data governance, and data security best practices.
• Certifications in SAP BW, such as SAP Certified Associate - SAP BW/4HANA.
