SSIS / SQL Developer

About the Role

As an SSIS/SQL Developer at NTT DATA, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data integration solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services). This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and optimal system performance.

You will spend most of your day writing and executing SQL queries, creating and modifying SSIS packages, and troubleshooting database issues. Your expertise in performance tuning and software deployment will be crucial in ensuring the efficiency and scalability of our data systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy SSIS packages to integrate data from various sources into our SQL Server databases.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to improve database performance and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve database-related issues.
• Develop and maintain data structures and algorithms to optimize data processing and storage.
• Perform regular database backups and ensure data security and compliance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SQL Server and SSIS features and best practices.
• Document and maintain accurate records of database changes and updates.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS.
• Experience with performance tuning and software deployment.
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Platform Developer Associate.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
