Jr. Associate BI

About the Role

The Jr. Associate BI role at NielsenIQ is an entry-point into Business Intelligence Operations, requiring strong Excel capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work with structured reporting processes.

As a Jr. Associate BI, you will be responsible for timely and accurate execution of recurring reports, data validation, quality checks, and operational reporting support.

Key Responsibilities

• Refresh, validate, and deliver assigned reports within agreed timelines
• Perform report quality checks before delivery
• Ensure reports are delivered to the correct stakeholders and locations
• Follow established SOPs and reporting standards
• Conduct data validation and cross-country verification activities
• Investigate discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately
• Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for reporting errors
• Use Advanced Excel extensively for report generation, validation, analysis, and data manipulation
• Create and maintain reporting templates and trackers

• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• MS Office Suite

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (Commerce, Science, Engineering, Management, Statistics, Mathematics preferred)
• Basic VBA / Macros
• Power BI Fundamentals
• Basic SQL Knowledge

In this role, you will develop expertise in NIQ BI tools and reporting platforms, participate in training and upskilling programs, and build foundational analytics and business intelligence capabilities.

You will also learn to work with structured reporting processes, data validation, and quality checks, and develop skills in Advanced Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
