Accountant ( Gurgaon) (Sector 17)

About the Role

As an Accountant at Naukripay, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will work closely with the finance team to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform business decisions.

Day-to-day tasks will include reconciliations, audits, tax management, budgeting, and forecasting. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform reconciliations of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.
• Conduct audits and reviews of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage tax compliance, including filing tax returns and ensuring timely payments.
• Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts to inform business decisions.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations, and ensure compliance with these changes.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as Tally or QuickBooks.
• Strong spreadsheet skills, including Excel.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights to inform business decisions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
