Responsibilities

• Engineer and maintain innovative, customer-centric, high-performance, secure, and robust solutions.
• Work within a feature team to engineer software, scripts, and tools, and liaise with other engineers, architects, and business analysts across the platform.
• Produce complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality, adding value to the business.
• Collaborate to optimize software engineering capability.
• Design, produce, test, and implement working software solutions.
• Work across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design through coding to testing, deployment, and operations.

What You'll Need

• Background in software engineering, software design, and architecture.
• Understanding of how your area of expertise supports customers.
• Production Support experience is desirable.
• Experience with development and testing tools, bug tracking tools, and wikis.
• Proficiency with Unix commands and scripting.
• Working experience of AWS and Terraform.
• Experience of DevOps and Agile methodology and associated toolsets.
• Knowledge on Load balancers /Networking Concepts.
• Change & Incident Management Knowledge.
• Experience of implementing programming best practice, especially around scalability, automation, virtualization, optimization, availability, and performance.
