Job Title: Category Management Location: Bangalore Company Overview: Myntra is a leading Indian fashion e-commerce platform, committed to delivering innovative products that resonate with consumers. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Category Managers for a designated group or category of products. Role Overview In this role, you will be responsible for managing a specific product category. Your focus will be on pricing, promotion, and vendor relationships to maximize consumer appeal and drive sales growth. Key Responsibilities Pricing and Promotion: Develop and execute pricing strategies and promotional activities to enhance consumer interest in your product category. Vendor Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors, ensuring effective collaboration and support. Sales Optimization: Actively pursue pricing and inventory management strategies to optimize sales for your assigned brands. Product Scaling: Work continuously to scale brands on the platform by improving selection, catalog, and marketing efforts. P&L Involvement: Engage in commercial closures and work towards understanding the P&L view of the business and category. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to maximize sales, procure additional stock as needed, and eliminate excess inventory Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape, particularly in the beauty and personal care sector. Qualifications Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Understanding of consumer behavior and retail dynamics. Basic knowledge of marketing and sales principles. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
