Associate - Planning

About the Role

As an Associate - Planning at Myntra, you will play a critical role in forecasting and managing demand to optimize supply chain resource planning and ensure customer satisfaction. Your efforts will contribute directly to the company's success by ensuring efficient supply chain operations and meeting customer demand effectively.

You will utilize data analysis, statistical techniques, and market insights to develop accurate demand forecasts and drive strategic decision-making within the organization. This role requires a strong problem-solving ability, robust analytical skills, and a strong orientation towards processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate demand forecasts by utilizing historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors.
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that impact demand, utilizing tools such as Excel, SQL, Python & Data Science modelling.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain to gather insights, align on forecast assumptions, and communicate demand expectations.
• Continuously evaluate and refine forecasting models and methodologies to improve forecast accuracy and reduce forecast error.
• Drive the demand planning process from demand review meetings to consensus forecasting, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders and departments.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, service levels, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving ability and robust analytical skills.
• Highly proficient in Advances Excel, SQL & Python.
• BE/BTech from Tier 1 institute & with a professional experience of 0-2 years.
• Professional experience in e-commerce / Retail / Analytics.
• Data analytics skills, including data visualization and statistical analysis.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs.
