LEC, Associate, Corporate Controllers, Reporting & Accounting

About the Role

In this role as a LEC Associate, you will be responsible for providing critical support to the Corporate Controllers team in Morgan Stanley's Reporting & Accounting function. Your day-to-day tasks will involve analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also be involved in process automation and legal entity control.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform variance analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement in financial performance.
• Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of financial data across different systems.
• Develop and implement process automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Controllers team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Provide support for management accounts and financial analysis.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, financial statements, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
