Finance Controller | AI Native Start-up | Bangalore

About the Role

This Finance Controller role is a critical position in an AI native start-up, where you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance with Indian Accounting Standards and US GAAP, and providing strategic financial insights to stakeholders. You will work closely with the management team to drive business growth and make informed decisions. As a key member of the finance team, you will be expected to maintain accurate and timely financial reports, manage cash flow, and optimize financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial models to drive business growth and profitability.
• Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including the management team, investors, and board of directors.
• Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards and US GAAP, and maintain accurate and timely financial records.
• Manage cash flow, optimize financial processes, and identify areas for cost savings.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement business strategies.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, banks, and regulatory bodies.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in accounting, such as CA or CMA.
• Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards and US GAAP.
• Experience with SaaS financial systems and tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong business partnering and leadership skills.
