Backend Engineer

About the Role

As a Backend Engineer at METRO Global Solution Center IN, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic, database integration, and API connectivity of software applications. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Python and relevant technologies.

• Develop and maintain REST APIs to enable data exchange between systems.
• Participate in Agile development methodologies to ensure timely delivery of software projects.
• Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience with Git version control system.
• Knowledge of SQL and database design principles.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and API design principles.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of Linux operating system.
