DevOps Engineer

About the Role

This DevOps Engineer role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment, automation, and infrastructure tasks. You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting build and deployment issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability by identifying and resolving potential issues.
• Support deployment, automation, and infrastructure tasks to ensure seamless collaboration with development teams.
• Collaborate with development teams for smooth releases and troubleshoot build and deployment issues.
• Maintain documentation and operational procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and efficient onboarding.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud technologies.

Skills & Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP – basic level).
• Knowledge of Docker and basic containerization.
• Version control using Git.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Shell / Bash / Python – preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer or Azure Developer Associate).
