SWE Infrastructure Specialist (JS/TS/Python) Freelance AI Trainer Project

About the Role

As a SWE Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for training large-scale language models on realistic infrastructure and platform scenarios, focusing on systems thinking, software and infrastructure architecture, performance optimization, and quality engineering.

You will converse with the model on infrastructure and platform engineering tasks using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python, verify architectural soundness and logical correctness, assess code quality and testing strategies, analyze performance bottlenecks and deployment risks, capture reproducible failure cases, and suggest improvements to prompt design and evaluation metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud architectures for large-scale systems using Infrastructure-as-Code abstractions.
• Develop and optimize deployment workflows to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Analyze performance bottlenecks and deployment risks to improve system efficiency.
• Capture and reproduce failure cases to strengthen model reasoning.
• Assess code quality and testing strategies to ensure logical correctness.
• Communicate system-level reasoning and tradeoffs to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the model to evaluate architectural tradeoffs and abstraction layers.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python programming languages.
• Experience in cloud platforms, infrastructure engineering, platform or DevOps roles, performance analysis, or QA practices.
• Strong technical communication and system-level reasoning skills.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with quality engineering and performance optimization techniques.
