About the Role

As a Python Developer at Mercor, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using Python. You will work on a range of projects, from data analysis and machine learning to web development and automation. Your primary focus will be on writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets the requirements of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Python-based software applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Write unit tests and integrate testing to ensure high-quality code
• Participate in code reviews to improve code quality and maintainability
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Python trends, libraries, and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Document code and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and onboarding

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python programming language
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with popular Python libraries and frameworks (e.g., NumPy, pandas, Flask, Django)
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
