About the Role
As a Consultant Actuarial Consultant Life at Mercer, you will be responsible for providing actuarial consulting services to clients across various industries, focusing on life insurance and related products. - Validate and test actuarial models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Develop and maintain expertise in actuarial software and tools, including MS Excel and MS Access.
- Provide analysis support to clients on strategic reinsurance and asset liability management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in the life insurance sector.
Skills & Qualifications
- Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of actuarial principles, models, and techniques.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, and other actuarial software tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with clients and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Actuarial certifications (e.g., FIA, ACIA, or equivalent) are a plus.
