About the Role

As an Assoc IT Developer at Medtronic, you will be responsible for evaluating and designing, developing or modifying programs for internal functional areas including finance, human resources, and marketing. You will work closely with functional users to enhance and maintain programs, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, or modifying programs for internal functional areas including finance, human resources, and marketing.
• Analyzing existing programs and/or formulating logic for new systems.
• Developing system design documentation, performing coding, and testing/debugging programs.
• Creating ad hoc or bolt-on programs for integrations or functional business teams as needed.
• Developing conversion and system implementation plans.
• Preparing and obtaining approval of system and programming documentation.
• Training users in system enhancements and modifications.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and tools.
