Sales and Post-Sales Support at Mechanical Chef
About the Role
Mechanical Chef is a startup developing cooking robots for homes. We are looking for an early-career sales-and-support person who can work out of our small office in the center of Bangalore in Benson Town. We are looking for candidates passionate about supporting users, helping with sales, helping train users in operating a robot (and therefore someone who has good communication skills). Also someone keen about building and growing a user community. In particular, we are looking for someone with an interest in robotics and startups and novel product launches. Candidate's Primary Responsibilities: Handle complete sales activities including lead generation, customer engagement, demonstrations, and online and in-store sales. Handle meetings and product demos to educate customers and help people get the right product experience for them. Perform consistent follow-up activities to improve user satisfaction and maintain relationships. Communicate effectively with users through calls, emails, and meetings. Ensure continuous customer engagement throughout and after the sales process. Candidate's Secondary Responsibilities: Manage post-sale activities including onboarding, support, and customer satisfaction checks. Support existing customers and resolve their issues. Train users to use the product effectively. Manage sales efforts end-to-end, including channel strategy, planning, execution, and follow-up. Support public relations and brand-building efforts. Coordinate content creation where needed.
