Application Engineering Intern

About the Role

As an Application Engineering Intern at Maxwell Energy Systems, you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of our Battery Management Systems for Electric Vehicles applications. This involves collaborating closely with customers throughout the integration process, ensuring successful BMS adoption in their EV applications. You will gain valuable hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers across various disciplines, contributing to the continuous improvement of Maxwell's cutting-edge BMS technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with customers throughout the integration process, ensuring successful BMS adoption in their EV applications.
• Participate in requirement elicitation and technical discussions to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable design specifications.
• Integrate Maxwell solutions/electronics components into customer systems(vehicle/energy storage systems) through thorough documentation, onboarding and customer visits.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Maxwell's cutting-edge BMS technology.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for Maxwell's BMS solutions.
• Engage in requirement elicitation, technical negotiation, and stakeholder management.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related field, 2025 passout having 8 GPA or above.
• Proficiency in embedded system engineering, digital/analog electronics, and communication protocols (CAN, J1939, SPI).
• Strong programming skills in Embedded C and familiarity with JSON for data exchange, python for data parsing/analysis.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO26262, UL standards, and AIS.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with a passion for innovation and a drive to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations.
