Technical Accountant

About the Role

As a Technical Accountant at Mastermind Network, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial data, preparing financial statements, and maintaining accounting records. You will work closely with the finance team to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes. Your day-to-day tasks will involve analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.
• Manage and maintain accounting records, including journal entries, ledgers, and general ledgers.
• Develop and implement accounting procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including management and external auditors.
• Collaborate with the finance team to identify and implement process changes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.
• Experience with accounting software, including Oracle DB and Blackline.
• Proficient in MS Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Relevant certifications, such as CPA or CMA.
