Financial Reporting Accountant

About the Role

As a Financial Reporting Accountant at Mamg & Co, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. You will work closely with the finance team to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations for process improvements.

Day-to-day, you will be involved in tasks such as reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, and ensuring that all financial transactions are properly documented and recorded.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct financial analysis and identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Communicate financial information to stakeholders, including management, investors, and regulatory bodies.

Skills & Qualifications

• Tally ERP software proficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and IFRS.
• Understanding of GST workings and compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
