Accounts Trainee

About the Role

In this Accounts Trainee position at Magenta Finance Services Private Limited, you will be responsible for supporting daily bank reconciliation and cash reconciliation activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions. You will also assist in preparing GST-related working and documentation, helping the team stay compliant with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Support daily bank reconciliation and cash reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing GST-related working and documentation to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct data entry and record-keeping tasks in accounting software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with the finance team to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
• Provide administrative support to the finance team, including preparing reports and presentations as needed.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in accounting and finance.

Skills & Qualifications

• Microsoft Excel: Proficiency in using Excel for data analysis, budgeting, and financial modeling.
• Tally ERP: Experience in using Tally for accounting, inventory management, and payroll processing.
• ERP systems: Familiarity with ERP systems, including implementation, customization, and integration.
• Accounting software: Knowledge of accounting software, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• MS Office: Proficiency in using MS Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce: A degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of GST regulations: Familiarity with GST laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
