Accounts Assistant/ Accounts Junior Officer / Accounts Officer

About the Role

In this Accounts Assistant/ Accounts Junior Officer / Accounts Officer role at Machine Tools India, you will be responsible for maintaining the company's financial records, preparing and reviewing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Your day-to-day tasks will involve reconciliations, TDS and advance tax calculations, and GST operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Calculate and deposit TDS and advance tax as per government regulations.
• Manage GST operations, including GST returns and compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and GST.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with accounting software, such as Tally or QuickBooks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in accounting, such as CA or CMA, is a plus.
