Why This Role Matters Sales Associates are the frontline revenue drivers of the store. This role directly impacts: Store revenue and conversion Customer experience and brand perception Average ticket size through consultative selling You are not just selling products — you are helping customers visualize and build their homes . What You Will Own Deliver exceptional in-store customer experience Drive individual sales targets and contribute to department goals Ensure strong product knowledge and consultative selling Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store hygiene Support stock movement, replenishment, and availability Key Result Areas Sales & Revenue Achieve individual sales targets Drive add-on and upsell (attachment sales) Contribute to department revenue goals Customer Experience Welcome and assist customers as per service standards Provide accurate product and promotion information Build trust and guide customers in purchase decisions Store Operations Ensure merchandise is well displayed as per VM guidelines Maintain cleanliness, pricing accuracy, and display standards Support stock rotation and replenishment Product & Learning Stay updated on product knowledge and new launches Complete training modules and apply learning on floor Process Adherence Capture leads and customer data accurately Follow SOPs for store operations and service What Success Looks Like Consistently achieves or exceeds sales targets High conversion rate and strong customer feedback Demonstrates strong product knowledge and selling skills Maintains excellent store presentation standards Actively contributes to team and store performance Who Thrives in This Role Energetic, customer-focused individuals Strong communicators with selling aptitude People who enjoy interacting and influencing customers Fast learners with interest in home, décor, or lifestyle products Education Minimum: 12th Pass Preferred: Graduate (any stream) Experience 0–6 Months in retail / sales / hospitality Furniture / home retail experience is a plus Skills Communication and interpersonal skills Basic sales and negotiation ability Customer handling and problem-solving Key Competencies Customer Centricity Sales Orientation Product Curiosity Execution Excellence Team Collaboration
