Data Scientist for AI Products - Americas

About the Role

As a Data Scientist for AI Products, you will be part of the Digital Americas organization, a multi-disciplinary team that creates analytics and decision support systems for Linde's business units. Your primary tasks will include developing and customizing AI software products using Machine and Deep Learning backends, as well as supporting the replication of existing products and pipelines to other systems in the Americas.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize AI software products using Machine and Deep Learning backends.
• Support the replication of existing products and pipelines to other systems in the Americas.
• Interact with business functions to identify opportunities with potential business impact.
• Support the development and deployment of models into production.
• Design and define data requirements for new developments.
• Work directly with various data sources, types, and structures to derive actionable insights.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computational Statistics/Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of and practical experience with Multivariate Statistics, Machine Learning, and Probability concepts.
• Hands-on experience with preprocessing, feature engineering, feature selection, and data cleansing on real-world datasets.
• Proficiency in Python and handling large datasets using SQL in a business environment.
• Knowledge of data architectures and concepts, as well as practical experience in visualizing large datasets using tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
• Strong background in Machine Learning, including experience with Scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Experience with DevOps and MS Azure, as well as tools like Azure ML, Kedro, Airflow, and MLflow.
