About the Role

This Infrastructure Engineer Windows & Linux role at Lenovo is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's infrastructure systems, ensuring seamless operations and security across both Windows and Linux platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Windows and Linux infrastructure systems, including servers, storage, and networking components.
• Develop and implement robust security measures to protect Lenovo's infrastructure and data from potential threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address infrastructure needs, develop and implement solutions, and provide expert-level support.
• Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize system efficiency and scalability.
• Provide expert-level support for infrastructure-related issues, working closely with internal stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, applying this knowledge to improve Lenovo's infrastructure systems and processes.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with infrastructure management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, including threat analysis and mitigation strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
