About the Role

As a Ruby on Rails Developer at Leading, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, efficient, and secure web applications using the Ruby on Rails framework. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, develop high-quality code, and ensure timely delivery of projects. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Ruby on Rails applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend APIs and ensure seamless user experiences.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, testable, and maintainable code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and contribute to the improvement of the codebase.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance problems in a timely and efficient manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Ruby on Rails features, best practices, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes.
• Develop and maintain documentation for code, APIs, and other technical artifacts, ensuring clarity and accessibility for team members and stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications

• Ruby on Rails framework and its ecosystem.
• Angular or other frontend frameworks for building dynamic user interfaces.
• HTML, CSS, and SASS for building responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.
• HAML for templating and layout management.
• jQuery for client-side scripting and DOM manipulation.
• PostgreSQL for database management and querying.
• Shell scripting for automating tasks and workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
