About the Role

This Medical Writer & Claims Substantiation Specialist role involves creating high-quality medical content, including literature reviews, evidence grading, and claims substantiation for regulated medical devices and medical aesthetics.

As a Medical Writer & Claims Substantiation Specialist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain accurate, compliant, and engaging medical content that meets regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to identify relevant scientific evidence and grade the quality of evidence to support claims.
• Develop and maintain accurate, compliant, and engaging medical content, including product information, clinical trials, and regulatory documents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including regulatory, clinical, and marketing, to ensure alignment and accuracy of medical content.
• Conduct claims substantiation to ensure that all claims made about regulated medical devices and medical aesthetics are supported by scientific evidence.
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements, industry trends, and scientific developments to ensure that medical content remains accurate and compliant.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of medical aesthetics, regulated medical devices, and clinical evidence to support medical content development.
• Communicate complex scientific information to various stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, customers, and internal teams.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a life science, medical science, or related field.
• Strong scientific writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Experience with literature reviews, evidence grading, and claims substantiation.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical devices and medical aesthetics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with medical writing style guides, such as the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) or the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
