About the Role

As a Freelance AI Red Team Engineer, you will be responsible for simulating cyber attacks on our systems to identify vulnerabilities and improve our defenses. This role involves working with various technologies such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell to automate penetration testing and security assessments. You will also be involved in containerization using Docker and ensuring the security of our Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute red team exercises to test our systems and identify vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain scripts using Python, Bash, and PowerShell to automate penetration testing and security assessments.
• Work with our DevOps team to ensure the security of our CICD pipelines and containerized applications.
• Conduct web and API security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with our security team to develop and implement security best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies to ensure our systems remain secure.
• Document and report on red team exercises and security findings.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and PowerShell programming languages.
• Experience with containerization using Docker.
• Knowledge of penetration testing and security assessments.
• Familiarity with CICD security tools and web security.
• API security knowledge and experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
