Data Scientist

About the Role

As a Data Scientist at Kotak Mahindra Bank, you will be responsible for extracting insights from large datasets to inform business decisions. This involves working with various data sources, applying statistical and machine learning techniques, and communicating findings to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data-driven models to predict customer behavior and preferences.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns, and provide actionable recommendations to business teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in machine learning and data science.
• Communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.
• Work with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines and architectures.
• Conduct experiments and A/B testing to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of data-driven initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning.
• Knowledge of statistics and probability theory, including hypothesis testing and confidence intervals.
• Familiarity with SQL and database management systems.
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Matplotlib and Seaborn.
• Certifications in data science or machine learning, such as Certified Data Scientist or Certified Machine Learning Engineer.
