About the Role
As a Credit Analyst Intern at JPMorganChase, you will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data to assess the creditworthiness of clients. Your day-to-day tasks will involve evaluating credit reports, analyzing financial statements, and making informed decisions on loan applications. You will work closely with experienced analysts to develop your skills and knowledge in credit analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate credit reports and financial statements to assess creditworthiness
- Develop and maintain knowledge of credit scoring models and credit risk assessment techniques
- Analyze cash flow statements and balance sheets to identify trends and areas of concern
- Prepare and present credit analysis reports to stakeholders, including loan officers and senior management
- Assist in the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in credit analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective credit risk management
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proficiency in MS Excel, with experience in data analysis and visualization
- Knowledge of credit scoring models and credit risk assessment techniques
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple deadlines and priorities
- CIBIL Bureau Reports and Cash Flow Analysis experience is a plus
