About the Role

As a Payroll & Compensation Accountant at Jobrapido, you will be responsible for managing the company's payroll and compensation processes, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations and laws. Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for employees, including calculations, deductions, and disbursements.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of payroll, compensation, and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and laws, including filing of tax returns and payment of taxes.
  • Conduct audits and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in payroll and compensation.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including HR and finance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 0-4 years of experience in payroll and compensation, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.
  • Knowledge of general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Familiarity with tax regulations and laws, including compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams.
