Property Accountant (New Delhi)

About the Role

As a Property Accountant at Jobaaj.com, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of the company's property portfolio, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. Your day-to-day tasks will include preparing and reviewing financial statements, reconciliations, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Perform month-end close, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting, providing financial insights to support business decisions.
• Reconcile CAM (Common Area Maintenance) charges and other property-related expenses.
• Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support business analysis.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

• GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) knowledge.
• Experience with financial reporting and budgeting software, such as Yardi.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Relevant certifications, such as CA or CMA.
