About the Role

In this role as a Direct Marketing Channel representative for Kotak Life Insurance, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to acquire new customers and grow existing relationships. Your primary focus will be on leveraging the direct channel to drive sales growth and expand the insurance agency network. You will work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities, build relationships, and close deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow the direct channel business.
  • Build and maintain relationships with insurance agents, brokers, and other stakeholders to drive sales growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the insurance agency network.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales plans, track progress, and analyze results.
  • Provide training and support to insurance agents and brokers to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to stay ahead in the market.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-4 years of experience in field sales, insurance sales, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of life insurance products, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet sales targets, and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools.
  • Life insurance sales certification or equivalent experience.
